  • In the period 6 April 2017 to 5 April 2018, WortonKelly submitted online returns that resulted in PAYE/NIC liabilities due of £7,143, payments of £4,885 were made and at the date of liquidation a balance of £2,258 remained outstanding.
  • HMRC’s claim in the Liquidation also includes £100 outstanding in Corporation Tax and £23 in respect of Employment Allowance. Comparative treatment
  • Accounts for period ending 31 December 2015 show that Trade and Other Creditors were recorded as being owed £53,491 and amounts owing to HMRC recorded as being owed £21,041.
  • At the date of Liquidation, HMRC debts have increased to £76,902, whilst the Statement of Affairs shows a reduction in the amounts outstanding to Trade Creditors to £2,329.
