Conduct: Sassy Amore Ltd On 15 March 2021, Miss Kelly Eva Tibbles (“Miss Tibbles”) caused Sassy Amore Ltd (“Sassy Amore”) to apply for a Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) of £30,000, when Sassy Amore was not eligible for the loan. In that: ? The BBL Scheme allowed a business that was established before 01 January 2019 to borrow between £2,000 and a maximum of £50,000 based on 25% of its annual turnover in the calendar year 2019. ? Sassy Amore was incorporated on 22 November 2012. ? Sassy Amore filed dormant accounts at Companies House for the period ended 30 November 2018. ? The accounts for the year ended 30 November 2019 show a turnover figure of £5,104. Based on this level of turnover for the calendar year 2019, Sassy Amore was not eligible for a BBL. ? In the BBL application dated 15 March 2021 the turnover figure is stated as £120,000 ? On 16 March 2021, BBL monies of £30,000 was paid into Sassy Amore’s bank account. ? At liquidation on 20 December 2021 the £30,000 remained outstanding. Sassy Cosmetics Ltd On 11 November 2020, Miss Tibbles caused Sassy Cosmetics Ltd (“Sassy Cosmetics”) to obtain a Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) of £25,000 by overestimating the turnover on the BBL application form to obtain £10,563 more than it was entitled to. In that: ? The BBL Scheme allowed a business that was established before 01 January 2019 to borrow between £2,000 and a maximum of £50,000 based on 25% of its annual turnover in the calendar year 2019. ? Sassy Cosmetics was incorporated on 24 December 2018. ? The end of year accounts dated 31 December 2019 shows turnover of £57,750. Based on this level of turnover for the calendar year 2019 Sassy Cosmetics was eligible for a BBL of no more than £14,437. ? In the BBL application dated 11 November 2020 the turnover is stated as £100,000 ? On 12 November 2020, BBL monies of £25,000 was paid into Sassy Cosmetic’s bank account. ? At liquidation on 20 December 2021 the £25,000 remained outstanding.
