Conduct: I, Michael John Hein (Mr Hein) traded to the detriment of HM Revenue & Customs (“HMRC”) by operating a policy of unfair discrimination in that: • I traded as a consultant • Between 06 April 2013 and 05 April 2020, amounts due to HMRC for income tax and national insurance increased by £1,525,625 • During the period I, received income of at least £3,575,940; none of which was paid to HMRC, and the funds were instead used to meet my household and personal expenses, including non-essential expenditure • I failed to set aside any or any sufficient sum for tax at a time when I was aware of my obligations to file returns and to pay the tax due thereunder and was able to arrange his affairs to do so • HMRC are my principal creditor and have submitted a claim in the bankruptcy of £2,977,289.31 which has materially contributed to my insolvency
