The Scotland Act 1998 reserved legislative responsibility for Scottish administrations and company voluntary arrangements to the UK Parliament. To ensure that these procedures remain aligned with their counterparts in England & Wales following changes brought about by the Modernisation Project, the Insolvency (Scotland) Amendment Rules 2010 will amend the Insolvency (Scotland) Rules 1986, commencing 6 April 2010.
